BPA: What is it? Why go BPA-FREE?
BPA (Bisphenol A): A chemical compound widely used in the chemical industry and a key raw material in the production of polycarbonate (PC) plastics and epoxy resins.

Health Risks: Studies show BPA is an endocrine disruptor, capable of mimicking human hormones (such as estrogen) and potentially interfering with the endocrine system. It may pose developmental risks for infants and fetuses, and is linked to certain adult health issues. Heat or aging accelerates BPA leaching into food or beverages from plastics.

BPA-FREE: Literally means “free of Bisphenol A.” It indicates that no BPA was used as a raw material in the product, thereby eliminating the risk of BPA leaching and related health concerns at the source.
